What to See In The Costa Brava

Have you ever been on a holiday where you “ran out of things to do” after a few days? Well, you won’t have that problem in the Costa Brava! In fact, there’s so much to do here, chances are you’ll be wishing you had more time to enjoy your holiday.

If you want to know what to see in the Costa Brava, look no further than Costa Brava’s many medieval structures, carnival celebrations, the Santa Susanna Resort, and of course, the famous Spanish beaches.

Medieval Structures

As you would expect from a region rich with cultural and historical heritage, the Costa Brava’s landscape is dotted with ancient medieval castles, watchtowers and villages. Many of these villages have ancient cathedrals and churches as well, many of which are believed to be constructed in the 11th and 12th century

Tossa-de-Mar-CastleCarnival Celebrations

The carnival celebrations are truly a sight to behold. During these celebrations, entire towns take to the streets with feasting, dancing, and lots of games and friendly competitions.

Santa Susanna Resort

The Santa Susanna Resort is all inclusive of everything that the Costa Brava has to offer. Even if you don’t actually stay here, the Santa Susanna Resort is well worth your while to check out. One side of this resort is a little more modernized, with many facilities specifically designed to cater to the tourist industry. The other side of this resort offers narrow cobblestone streets lined with whitewashed houses, chapels, and old watchtowers.

Beaches

Of course, no Mediterranean holiday is complete without a few trips to the beaches. The Costa Brava’s beaches are immaculate, with white fine sand that extends as far as the eye can see.

Medieval structures, carnival celebrations, the Santa Susanna Resort, Spanish beaches… And that’s just the start! There is no end to the experiences you can have in the Costa Brava, but if you want to know what to see in Costa Brava, start with this list! You won’t be disappointed!
