October through March is still pleasant with temperatures in the 12c to 16c range but rain is more likely. The Costa Brava’s proximity to the warm Mediterranean protects it from the harsh weather that most of Northern European countries suffer from in the winter months.

If you REALLY want to stay away from the crowds, and if you don’t mind cooler weather and the occasional rain shower, plan to go during the winter months. Costa Brava’s winter weather is still pleasant, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pack the sweater and umbrella!
